Racer ST 2020

We have some very exciting news! Today we are proud to launch our latest garment innovation. The Racer ST 2020 is another game changer for the world of Canoe Slalom, it takes racing PFD innovation and performance to the next level. 

Improving upon the already successful Racer ST, which won gold and silver at the 2016 Games, has seen 3 years of fabric innovation, development and testing. 

The results are that for the Racer ST 2020 we have be able to remove all the adjustment webbing straps from the body of the garment. Not only this, but we’ve also removed all of the Racer STs front buoyancy foam and re positioned it all the spraydeck. Leaving only 20mm body foam in the back of the garment. 

The ST 2020 is secured with a crotch strap, the outcome being that the Racer ST 2020 is safer and does not ride up the body in the event of a swim (see video below). A zip on the spraydeck foam pouch, is an added bonus for those travelling overseas and looking to ease volume of kit being packed and transported. 

The Racer ST 2020 is available in 4 mens sizes: S. M. L. XL and 3 Ladies sizes: XS (L). S (L) and M (L). Spraydeck sizes available: K1. C1. C0 & MM. 

We’ve developed a brand new spraydeck shape to accommodate C1 models using smaller than standard K1 cockpit shapes. The C0 works perfectly for the Vajda Demon 3 and Lady Hype.  

Another update in the spraydeck options for the Racer ST 2020 is the introduction of a MM size. This is a standard sized K1 spraydeck with increased body tube length, to accommodate paddlers using C1 models that are fitted with standard K1 sized cockpits. They will work perfectly with all Vajda MM designs.
